Our 1st and 2nd year doctoral researchers, along with Alberto Abelló and Oscar Romero, have participated in the 6th edition of the eBISS summer school and doctoral colloquium which took place in Uni Tours, France (http://cs.ulb.ac.be/conferences/ebiss2016/).

This year, the program consisted of multiple topics about the state-of-the-art of Business Intelligence (BI) and Big Data analytics including: Graph analytics and databases, frequent pattern mining, and scalable real-time big data analytics. Our PhD candidates presented their latest work in the poster sessions and the doctoral colloquium presentation sessions. The event also included multiple social activities in Tours and a group visit of the Chaumont-sur-Loire castle and its international garden festival.
