UPC-CCD has granted the project “Coordinació i projecció del treball de la comunitat UPC contra la malària, la tuberculosi i les malalties desateses”, aiming at stablishing a solid collaborative foundation from a scientific and quantitative perspective for decision making in medicine, whose main focus will initially be on Chagas disease control. The activities will involve a multidisciplinary team from different specialities, including UPC departments (informatics, enginering, architecture and phisics) as well as other catalan institutions (medicine and pharmacy).
