Technical goal

The goal of the WIMEDS project is to develop a system/tool that facilitates and partially automates the process of procurring, ordering, requesting, and delivering of medical supplies for neglected tropical diseases all around the world. The idea is to have a common system for all the diseases that are declared as Neglected by the World Health Organization (WHO).

The main phases of the project consist of: requirements gathering, 'as is' modeling of the business processes, 'to be' (re-engineered) modeling of the business processes, development of executable business processes, and implementation and deployment.
