|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
DesCOTS is decomposed into four subsystems
implemented by the following tools: QM is a tool for the construction of quality models EV is a tool for the evaluation of COTS components SL is a tool for the definition of requirements in COTS selection
projects AD is a tool for the administration of the whole DesCOTS
system.

DesCOTS-EV is a tool that complements QM allowing to manage the evaluations of
multiple products. These evaluations are done using quality models defined by
means of the QM for the domain to which the products belong to. It provides
functionalities to:

You
may already use the DesCOTS tool for consulting
validated quality models You
may see the image of the validated quality models here. Now
also Web
Content Management (WCM) and in a few months
Document Management (DMS). Use
the client program DesCOTS-QM v3.2 Just
introduce: “user”, “webuser” to have access. DesCOTS-QM v3.2 manual If
you are interested in the new versions of DesCOTS-QM
and DesCOTS-EV tools, just send us a mail message
with your name, organization, e-mail address and postal address. Taking
into account that DesCOTS-QM and DesCOTS-EV are client/server tools, you will need to be
connected to INTERNET in order to use them. Contact us
in case you are interested
in using the tools for defining new
models: Carme Quer |
