GESSI
Software and Service Engineering Group
The Software and Service Engineering Group (GESSI) has been awarded Catalan government funding for the period 2009-2013 (2009 SGR 1153) and for the period 2014-2016 (2014SGR1451).
GESSI is formed by twenty researchers from the UPC (Department of Service and Information Systems Engineering and Department of Software), the University of Lleida, the University of the Pacific (Ecuador) and the University of La Frontera (Chile).
GESSI works in different areas of software engineering, focusing particularly on requirements engineering, software quality, software modelling, software components (COTS and OSS), software architecture and service-oriented computing.
GESSI works collaboratively with a range of groups in Europe and Latin America.
