The requirement patterns can be defined for a quality model.

They are parameterized requirements, which can be used during the elicitation of products of the domain giving values to the parameters.

QM just helps in the definition of the patterns, but it is necessary SL to use these patterns.

The requirement patterns are classified in families. There is just one level of classification of patterns.
