1. CREATING THE FIRST VERSION OF A QUALITY MODEL

To create a quality model for a scope (category or domain) of the taxonomy it is necessary to be the expert user of the scope.

It is necessary, once selected the scope, to press the right button of the mouse and choose the "New Quality Model" option.

Then, it appears a window to register the quality model properties:

And the quality model is created, and its first version is not validated. The quality model has already a set of quality entities. These entities are the same that the last validated version of the most closer quality model in the upper levels of the taxonomy (in order to reuse quality entities that are proper of the categories to which the scope belongs).

 

2. CREATING A NEW VERSION OF AN EXISTENT QUALITY MODEL

It is just possible if the last existent version is already validated, and the user is the expert user of the scope.

It is necessary, once selected the scope, to press the right button of the mouse and choose the "New Quality Model" option.

When the new version of the quality model is created, it is not validated. The quality model has already a set of quality entities. These entities are the same that the last version (in order to reuse the quality entities that are proper of the the scope).
